FARMERS MARKET IS OPEN  The annual Mancos Farmers Market is held every Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 145 West Grand Avenue. Purchase the freshest veggies and flowers while supporting our local farmers. Music this week provided by Maddy and Kev. It’s finally summer and although this may not be the summer of our dreams, our projects are here for you! Please check out the activities and assistance provided below:

Mancos FoodShare
Summer lunch program – for families with kids. Pick up every Monday in June and July from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Mt. Lookout Grange, 680 Grand.

Food Pantry, Mondays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Commodities, 4th Monday of the month, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Montezuma School to Farm Project
MSTFP is launching socially distant Summer Programming in accordance with CDC Guidelines. Each time slot is for a family to come spend some fun time at one of the school gardens. Here is the link to register! 

Dates: June 29th to July 24th
Times: 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: Kemper, Manaugh, Dolores and Mesa gardens
Available Projects: Gardening, cooking and activities.  

Outdoor Adventure Kids

Pay it Forward Fund 
If you are a Mancos resident struggling financially during this time, you may be able to get help from the Pay it Forward Fund. Please download an application here  and drop it in the mail to PO Box 204, Mancos, CO 81328 or place in the drop box at the Chamber of Commerce office. 

 

MVR is sad to announce that the 2020 Mancos Valley Summer Brewfest hosted by the Mancos Brewing Company is cancelled this year.

MYM’s mission is to enable and coordinate the partnerships between youth, their families and positive role models. They seek to assist the youth of Montezuma County in improving their access to opportunity, independence, sound decision making, well-being and happiness as they grow to adulthood.
