Another magical sunset graces the Mancos sky.

 Dear MVR Supporters:

Welcome to Spring in Colorado! The hummingbirds are back, the trees are budding and the wind continues to be insane. After a few years of nothingness, we are happy to report that ALL.THE.EVENTS are happening!  Our 15 projects are busy making up for lost time and MVR is planning a few events of our own. Stay tuned for more information on the Mancos Valley Summer Brewfest to be held on August 20th. MVR will also hold the 4th annual Mancos Valley River Film Festival, after a two-year hiatus, on September 24th at the Mancos Opera House.

The Mancos Farmers Market is undergoing a make-over this summer and is looking for community input. Please join the discussion on May 4th at the Grange, 680 Grand Avenue in Mancos.  Past, present or prospective vendors will meet from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a meeting for the general public from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Grange Sunday dinners are back providing a wonderful opportunity to eat great food, chat with your neighbors and meet some of the new folks moving into our little oasis.

Lastly, please mark your calendars for June 7th for the first of a 2-part series on Building Brilliant Boards. Facilitator Nancy Schaufele will lead this free workshop to be held at the Grange.

Thanks for your continued support of our organization!

Warmly,

Kim Cox
