Looking back…

  • Thanks to YOU and¬†Mancos Brewing Company, the¬†Mancos Valley Summer Brewfest¬†raised a whopping $15,380 this year! In addition to MVR, these¬†funds directly benefit our projects¬†Montezuma Youth Alliance¬†and¬†Mancos United. Thanks so much for your support–we can’t wait to celebrate with you again next year!
  • The¬†Mancos Summer Hub, offered in partnership with Mancos United,¬†was a HUGE success thanks to the incredible support you brought to this program!¬†¬†Read more about the project, the people, and its impact in this touching article¬†In a Rural Southwest Colorado Town, a New Program is Transforming Summer for Local Children – Collective Colorado (coloradotrust.org)
  • Our August Grant Writing Workshop was a great success! We had 34¬†participants from all over Montezuma County join us for a morning of interactive learning. Thanks to all who attended! Get on the list for future workshops by emailing dana@mancosvalleyresources.com.
  • Congratulations to Alex Bond of our project¬†Turning Wild, whose sculpture, “Handmade”¬†won 3rd place in the Colorado Springs 2023 Art on the Streets!
  • We are thrilled to welcome¬†Mancos Gear Share¬†on as our 16th project and look forward to watching them grow their lending model!¬†Learn more about their work and become a member on¬†their website.¬†
  • Learn who our¬†Joseph Arado/Mancos Valley Resources Continuing Education Scholarship¬†awardees¬†were below! Applications will reopen on May 1, 2024.

  • The¬†5th Annual Mancos Valley River Film Festival¬†is being held at the Mancos Opera House this Saturday,¬†October 14th!¬†Get your tickets today!¬†All proceeds and ticket sales benefit us and the support of our projects!
  • It’s the final¬†weeks of the¬†Mancos Valley Farmers’ Market!¬†Stock up for winter with the last of summer’s bounty while you still can!
  • Kudos to¬†Mancos Trails Group¬†for finishing¬†the Crosscut Trail, which completes¬†the Aqueduct Trail System. The final workdays of the season are coming up! Learn more on their website and join them:

  • The next¬†Community Dinners at¬†Mt. Lookout Grange¬†are happening on November 12th and December 10th! Come meet, eat, and celebrate with your neighbors!
