We hope you’re enjoying these mild winter days and looking forward to the thaw that’s on its way! At least that’s what Punxsutawney Phil has promised. (●’◡’●)
A lot has been happening around here–and so much more is in store. Read on to discover all that’s unfolded… and is still coming your way! We’re sure this news will keep your heart warm until that thaw arrives!
Looking back…
What a night we had with you all at 5th Annual Mancos Valley River Film Festival in October! You came out, watchedsome incredible films, bid on an array of sterling goods and fineries, enjoyed delicious refreshments, and showed us your love! THANK YOUAlpacka Raft–uber love to Ren and Sarah–and all of the filmmakers, generous raffle donors, provisions providers, community members, and filmlovers! We can’t wait to celebrate with you again this fall!
The MLK Jr. Breakfast at Mt. Lookout Grange was a beautiful community gathering! (See some great pictures below). Many thanks to those who put on this annual gathering to celebrate, honor, and remind us of MLK’s visionary challenge to advocate, act, and inspire in order to create the change we want to see in the world.
We’re so proud to share that TWO of our projects have graduated from MVR! Mancos United and Four Corners Food Coalition will continue their incredible community work under their own 501(c)3 status. What an accomplishment! We are so happy to see them grow and can’t wait to see how they continue to shape so many meaningful programs in our community!
What a gathering we had for our Annual Project Gathering and Potluck on February 10th! Fenceline hosted the evening, delivering delectables as only they can, so we could celebrate all of the projects we are fortunate to support! We were also thrilled to announce our Project of the Year, Mt. Lookout Grange. Did you know they need a new roof? You can be a part of their fundraising efforts on their GoFundMe page or by hitting the ‘Donate Now’ link below (be sure to put Mt. Lookout Grange in the memo line). Let’s ensure they can continue to serve our vibrant community!
And looking forward…
